Responsibility is the core of everything we do. Therefore, we stop all sales to our Saudi-Arabian customers due to the tragic murder of the journalist, Jamal Khashoggi.

Responsibility over profit
Since 2008 we have sold furniture for many millions to our Saudi-Arabian customers. Despite the fact that it means loss of trade for our business, we choose to stop the collaboration.

Because even though we are profit-driven as any other business, responsibility matters more to us.

No one can help everybody, but everyone can help somebody
Being a small company we are well aware that our decision doesn't change the world. However, we are great believers in that fact everyone can do something, and therefore we choose to put our foot down in this matter.

A well-considered choice
The decision doesn’t come spontaneously. Our founder and director, Svend Ø. Pedersen, has often considered whether our values were compatible with a country that compromises on basic human rights to the extent we see in Saudi-Arabia.

Monday, we informed our Saudi-Arabian customers that this is not the case.
